Rio was in the training rooms of the school. He had learned how to use the sword and was sharping his skills up. The head of guard still had not talked to him.

The teacher thrust against the boy, who's training had been going well after the surprise absence. He stopped mid move though and turned to the entrance of the room before giving a slight bow and moving to put away his sword and leave the room. It was then that Conchar, in his large wolf form entered the room with a slight growl, as usual. Who else could command such respect besides the headmasters? He stalked into the room and headed toward Rio, before sitting back on his haunches and licking at the wrappings around his legs which he wore often under his armor. Even sitting down he was nearly the height of Rio as he stood, but then again he was a very large wolf. His tone reflected his rank as the words left his jaw, " What ever you have to say must be important, Atiyana called for me herself. " he said for the boy was wasting his time anyway.

Rio watched as the wolf came into the room. He bowed to the wolf. "I wanted to tell you sorry for making you risk your life to save me." he told the wolf.

This small statement had said many things, bringing up a low growling laugh from deep within the wolf's throat. The sinister humor could be heard quite clearly in his voice when he looked down his long muzzle at the boy. " You dare to say that you can make me do anything? On that night which was so long ago? " he said with a huff before he spoke again, his gaze seeming to become a bit more intent. " My actions where my choice, The Headmistress asked me to go after you, I agreed because of my respect for her. Now you, why do you apologize? Is it because you feel guilty that you lived? Or is it because you got caught when you thought you had gotten away? " he asked though the words seemed concrete enough.

Oh it was hard to keep in the laugh for a second time, but Conchar did it with the self control which had earned him the title of head guard so many years ago. As the beast sat on his haunches, his eyes took on a look of thoughtfulness, carefully taking in the languages of the boy. He was confused if nothing else, ah, but there was something else. The little boy was angered, oh this would be fun wouldn't it?

In a flash the thoughtful and wise eyes were done, replaced with the same cold ones as before. " Neither huh? " he sneered, before rising onto all four legs, making only a few paces before he was right in front of the boy. " If you honestly don't know, then I want you to find that out. The result might just change you. " he said coldly, all warmth that might have been found in his voice gone in that one phrase.

At this the large wold gave only a snort, deep within his throat. Indeed the child was angered, but perhaps it was only because he was confused, all the same it wasn't his problem, so he didn't really care. But Conchar felt he should at least leave the boy with something more than his frustrations and daggers. " You underestimate the people around you boy, including yourself. That you must fix it, when you do, then you will understand. " he stated simply before almost prowling out of the room, passing by the teacher on the way out and growling at him just for laughs.

Conchar was already far down the halls by the time Rio had spoken. It didn't matter much anyways, the words wouldn't have driven much of a response from the guard. All that mattered now was that it was time to get back to work, which the wolf was more than happy to do as he bounded out of the school.
